Please may I through your web page say to Melanie Wright how sorry I am that today 5th of January 2009 Chloe made that final journey over the Rainbow Bridge. My heartfelt sympathy goes to you and Demi at this sad time.   - Linda Kightley, Sita, Mollie & Stella xxx    (05 January 2009)

Just a line to thank everyone for their generous contributions to the fund raiser. Martin Field, our 2007 Festive Fundraiser winner, was at Cool Agility on the 28 December and drew the winning £5 from the bucket. Miraculously our winner Diana Muirhead of Quiddich Quaffle fame was with us to collect her winnings. She needed most of her Chipping Norton club member vehicles to carry away the spoils and, in her shock, left her New Years Eve Champagne behind. Needless to say swift instructions were received that it was not to be drunk and would be collected! The finally cash tally for the Many Tears Rescue Centre was £301.20p. Many thanks to one and all for your generosity. we could not do this without your help and we are most grateful for your continued support. We have started collecting for 2009 already.   - Graham Taylor    (03 January 2009)
Thank you to everyone for your kind messages on the Agility Forum and through Yvonne. The funeral will be at 10.20am on Tuesday, 13 January 2009. As Yvonne has said, I would like donations rather than flowers which will go to Macmillan Cancer Research. We will have a donation box available at the wake, which is being held at The Dudley Arms, Himley, Nr Wolverhampton http://www.thedudleyarms.co.uk/.   - Mandy Melville-Love    (02 January 2009)

Well what a show! Oympia is over for 2008. Congratulations to all who qualified and especially to the winners of each of the five finals, I really think this is one of the best agility finals in the world and certainly the most unique!

Eurosport did a great job and we had the best coverage ever. I have been told that there was a 600% increase in viewers this year, It would be good if as many people as possible could e-mail EurosportUK. The more good feedback they get the more likely we are to get a repeat transmission next year.

I would like to thank Graham Partridge both personally and on behalf of the Kennel Club for the great job he did at Olympia. As you can imagine, it's a very stressful position for the judge as well as the competitors. He designed good suitable courses, was a pleasure to work with and was professional at all times. Oh and his judging seemed okay, too.

My final thanks go the the ring party. They are the best in the business bar none! I am indebted to John Gilbert, Jackie Brett, Mary Ray, Ann Roberts, Gwynn Roberts, Rob Hunter and Shawn Young.

I am sure that after a one day taster this year, Charlie Wyatt is looking forward to judging Olympia 2009.   - Dave Ray    (29 December 2008)

We wish to announce that the time has caught up with us and we have decided to retire from our business, Genesis Pet Food. From its inception 12 years ago it has been an amazing journey for Brian and me. Over the years we have developed it into a successful UK operation. We wish to thank you all for your support, enthusiasm and dedication during the formation up to the present day. Through your support we have been able to offer to the sports we love, support in the form of show sponsorship to the Obedience world and of course Agility. We have made many good friends and enjoyed every moment.   - Sandy & Brian Dyer    (19 December 2008)

I've just been speaking to Neville's wife Lettie, and she has good news. Neville has responded really well to the medication and treatment and may well be going home tomorrow (Tuesday). He will still have to visit Clacton Hospital (which is nearer for him) but hopefully he will be allowed home with some oxygen. He has been heard talking about how soon it will be before he can run his dog again - but I believe Lettie will be hiding all his shoes to stop this! So all your good thoughts and prayers have done the trick. I'm amazed and thrilled he has made such a swift recovery.   - Soraya    (15 December 2008)
A big thank you to the long suffering Carol who takes our young dog class at Danny and Eve's agility club on Thursday nights. We really enjoy your training. So do the dogs. Thanks.   - Denise & Sharon    (14 December 2008)
Congratulations to Catherine Harvey on her first TV presentation - Discover Dogs on Horse and Country TV (channel 280). She has never done anything like this before and was asked to present alongside Peter Purvis and Frank Kane just a week before the show. She was obviously very nervous, but pulled it off extremely well. Catherine (20) has been competing in Agility since she was old enough to read the numbers on the course, and has, with the help of so many friends in Agility, continued to enjoy her sport. We are very, very proud of her, and hope this may be the start of a great future for her. We look forward to seeing the other shows over the coming two weeks. Well done, Catherine.   - Mum, Dad, Chris & all the dogs    (14 December 2008)

I wanted to let as many of his friends know as possible, that Neville Todd who runs the cocker Home Alone Remy, has recently been admitted to hospital. He is at Colchester Hospital on the Dedham CCU ward, which is a cardiac ward. He is now stable, but they are not sure whether he will be out by Christmas. He has been unwell for several weeks, which has not been helped by the cold air of winter.

Anyone wanting his address to send cards to, can contact me by PM on the Forum. As soon as I know any more I will post an update. He needs all your prayers and positive thoughts - but if will power comes into it, then he'll be out before Christmas.   - Soraya    (14 December 2008)

Thanks to Sue Culmer for the interesting and informative Trainers Training Day last Sunday. Now at last it will not be such a case of the blind leading the blind. You helped me see the light, Yeeha   - Richard Partridge    (11 December 2008)
Charlie and I have today become proud grandparents for the first time although early as our daughter Karen, only 29 weeks, baby wasn't due until 21 February 2009 but little Abigail was very keen to join the big wide world. Abby weighed in at 3lb 5oz this morning at 9.04am after a C-section delivery. We are told by doctors Abby has a 90% survival rate. Abby will be in an incubator in hospital until at least February so she can thrive and come home to cause havoc in the family household. We are very excited and can't wait to visit Karen and Abby later today. We are off to buy the biggest girly teddy we can find. Unfortunately we won't be able to hold Abby but hope to view her through a glass panel. What an amazing and best ever Christmas prezzy we could ever imagine!   - Sue & Charlie Wyatt xxxx    (09 December 2008)
Just a quick message. Keith Powell is doing really really well. He is able to do basic essential things for himself now, and is doing so well mentally as well. I played chess with him a few weeks ago which was a very special moment! His speech and understanding are doing brilliantly too, and you can talk to him like normal for a few hours until he tires, when he does become more slurry! He has been so strong through all of this, and has always tackled his treatment and problems head on. However, as he is getting better he is beginning to comprehend the full reality of the situation he is in, and at the moment is going through periods where he can get quite upset and disheartened by it all. My grandad (Keith's dad) is also not very well at the moment and so they can't really visit him so often which is also getting him down. I just wanted to let people know that if they were planning on visiting him it would be especially appreciated at the moment, and would really help cheer him up. Keith can also talk relatively well on the telephone, so if anyone wanted to call or if they can't make a visit, just call Farnham Hospital, and they will connect you up to him! Christmas cards can be sent there too! if this could be passed on to anyone else who might know keith too that would be brilliant!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and new year and thanks again for all the support for all our family. Lots of love,   - Abby xxxx    (08 December 2008)

Well done to those in the Ely team who ran Sunday at Little Melton! Shame about the mud. I know it didn't help me at all!   - Lou & Rodders (Ely Team)    (08 December 2008)

We should like to thank all the competitors who assisted at our recent agility show in November along with all the members and their families who took part in the back ground. Special thanks to Geoff Sutcliffe, Ben Newton, Clive & Dorothy Foden and Iris Maxfield just to name a few and many thanks to our Judges for their supprt.

Our February schedule will be available on our web site from Monday night, 8th December. We hope we can count on some of you to help us then. Happy New Year and thanks to everyone.   - The Committee of NHDTC    (08 December 2008)

A huge and gigantic congratulations to Jan Guyan and her super dooper collie Mr Blue Eyed Boy who won G5 Agility today at the Woodside Show. This was Bobbie's first G5 and he won it in real style. It is good to see Bobbie and Jan back on the circuit after both of them coming through major surgery. Well done.   - Anne & Family    (07 December 2008)
So sorry to read about Tilly. Alison and I trained at Val Venables both with our Tilly girls, and now all these have gone by and 15 years have flown away. My thoughts are with you, Alison and family.   - Val Phillips    (06 December 2008)
So sorry to hear from Alison Grimes that she has lost Tilley, her lovely collie. Although a good age ,it is always hard to let them go. She was a smashing girl in her day and I will always have fond memories of her. Go and find Harlie, Annie and Daisy and have fun...   - Denise, Alec & the gang xx    (05 December 2008)
Big congratulations to Matt Scott and Danny for winning their Jumping class today! Well done, Matt!   - James, Jenna, Charlotte & dogs!    (05 December 2008)
So sorry to hear that Lillian Bradley's lovely poodle Rustic High Flyer (Silver AW) or Rusty to his friends, has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Rusty, a rescue poodle, appeared regularly at Crufts in the rescue dogs display and was the 'anchorman' of the team. He was a reliable, consistant dog who had many wins throughout his agility career, and adored agility. Another stalwart of the agility circuit has left us, leaving behind a large Rusty shaped hole that will be hard to fill. Everyone's thoughts are with you Lillian at this horrible time. Rusty will be a hard act to follow   - Soraya & Ernie    (05 December 2008)
Emma, so sorry to hear about your loss of dear little Midget. It is devasting news for you. We are thinking of you all.   - Sue & Gus    (02 December 2008)

I would would like to extend my deepest condolences to Emma Smith who lost her dear little Midget very suddenly on Saturday. Such a shock to lose a dog so unexpectedly amd so young. Thinking of you,   - Mummy Mo xx    (01 December 2008)
Joanne. So very sorry to hear of the loss of your lovely boy Draks. Thinking of you.   - Charmain & Sheila    (01 December 2008)
